Dear Parent/ Guardian
Here are the characters your child was asked to name for their Irish test last week. Everyone did a super job!
Here are just some of the dances we do as transitions/ bizzy breaks.
Today we explored our thoughts. We learnt that our thoughts can make us happy, sad, worried, excited etc. We now know that our thoughts are like bubbles. If we have thought bubbles that are making us sad, frightened or worried, we must take a deep breath and the bubble will pop!
We discussed all about mental health. If we have a sore leg, people might see us wearing a plaster or using crutches. If we have a sore tummy, people might see us vomiting. If we have a sore nose, people might see it bleeding or see us sneezing.
As this is 'World Mental Health Week', we will start each morning with some mindfulness/ meditation. This morning we learnt about the importance of taking deep breaths to help us stay calm and relaxed.
Welcome to the Room 4 Junior / Senior Infant Blog. We will show you some of our work on this page and hopefully you will see just how busy we are in school. We would love for you to leave comments for us to read!
